CONCLUSION:
Seldom has an issue come before the public that affects our personal health (and our personal freedom) as much as does this one.  When the "smoke and mirrors" of the proponents of fluoridation
are cleared away by scientific evidence, it is plain that there is no justification for putting this toxic substance in our water supply.
"Esteemed Voices have, for 50 years, warned the American public that water fluoridation has dangerous long-term consequences to health." (See 43-3: List of 128 leading authorities who are opposed to fluoridation, Maureen Jones, San Jose Citizens for Safe Drinking Water, Telephone (408) 297-8487).     Following are some of their quotes:

"I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs. Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effect on a long-range basis. Any attempt to use the water this way is
deplorable." Charles Gordon Heyd, M.D., Past President, American Medical Association.

On Nov. 24, 1992, Robert Carton, Ph.D., a former EPA scientist made this statement: "FLUORIDATION
IS THE GREATEST CASE OF SCIENTIFIC FRAUD OF THIS CENTURY, IF NOT OF ALL TIME."

Professor Albert Schatz, Ph.D., Microbiology, discoverer of the antibiotic streptomycin, was of the same opinion. His statement was: "fluoridation ... it is the greatest fraud that has ever been
perpetrated and it has been perpetrated on more people than any other fraud has."  

David R. Hill, P.Eng., Professor Emeritus, The University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in Aug. 1997, stated: "My own conclusion is that there are, at best, real unresolved and serious questions about the
safety and benefits of water fluoridation and related uses of fluoride.

The most recent evidence suggests it is not particularly beneficial, and certainly not safe. The most charitable interpretation that
one can put on the situation is that old habits die hard, and the medical/dental establishment is slow  to adapt to the realities of modern research, and is fearful of losing both face and law suits if they admit they made a mistake."

For too many decades we heard from scientists who worked for the cigarette companies that  cigarettes were not addictive, even in the face of mounting evidence of harm. No one died from smoking one cigarette, one pack, or one carton. But after twenty years, cancers started to "mysteriously" appear. We were told these deaths were unrelated to smoking.

Now, the American Cancer Society states that, "During 1995, approximately 2.1 million people in developed countries died as a result of smoking." Tobacco use is responsible for nearly one in five
deaths in the U.S. Scientists were wrong about tobacco; tobacco was not safe and neither is fluoride.

The powerful financial interests behind fluoridation have managed to keep the public from knowing the truth by controlling the media. Here is the opportunity for those who have the courage to speak out
and let the truth be known to do a real service for the public, who in the majority of cases have not even been given a choice in the matter.

Those opposed to fluoridation have but one thing to gain — water that is free of medication, a medication that has been proven time and again not to work for the purpose intended, and is harmful
to many.

It is time to bring the evidence out in a free and open discussion, where reason and facts are the guidelines, rather than emotion and politics. To ignore the issue is to let others make the decision for
us. It has been said that: "All bad men need is for good men to do nothing." Please help spread the true facts on this issue.

Dear Friends, I'm so deeply concerned for us and all our fellow Queenslanders and Australians, I am back on the kidney disease yet again; I think there is too much evidence to keep ignoring, and something has to be done.

None of you can continue to ignore it - one dot joins another dot and another dot and so on - you cannot gamble with the people's health, that's been done for too long already; and as I said, the evidence of harm, the evidence of bullying, fraud, collusion, corruption, intimidation, conflicts of interests and subsequent loss of integrity in science is overwhelming and encompasses the "water fluoridation fraud". That's not me just saying it, there’s enough extensive highly credible evidence from around the world to re-sink The Titanic. I believe that it is absolutely negligent and criminal to ignore such staggering evidence of harm. Now I know that myself and most other people could not just lay back and know that innumerable people are being harmed and suffering kidney disease, KHA don't quote numbers of people but they do say The cost of treating kidney disease in Australia is rising by $50 million a year and will jump from $700 million in 2006 to $900 million in 2010 - ok ALARM BELLS - stop immediately the poisoning of our water supplies. There has been an overwhelming response to what is said to be an Australian first kidney screening program to be held in Townsville, in north Queensland, next month. The Chronic Kidney Disease Program has already been booked out, with 160 bookings coming in just two days.

 

Anne Wilson, from Kidney Health Australia, says she has been pleased with the number of people who have requested the free service, which will be rolled out to other parts of the country later in the year. "It's going to be pretty brief. It's not really complex, it's actually a very simple point of care testing, and they will get their results there and then and those results, with the permission of participants, will be sent through to their GPs," she said.

KIDNEY DISEASE 2005-2006 figures. Chronic Kidney Disease is responsible for the highest number of hospital visits to public hospitals in Australia. In 2005 / 2006 one third of all admissions to public hospitals were due to dialysis, 2000 each day of the year.

Queensland was the Smart State for a while as @ 2007 report and up to Dec. 2008 when Bligh & Co. dropped the S6 poison in our water supplies also; before that we had 5% & Townsville silicofluoride S6 poisoned water for 40 years.

 

Researchers from Westmead Hospital’s Institute of Dental Research also released results of new research last month that showed they had discovered more than 20 new species of the Prevotella bacteria, which reside within decaying human teeth.

 

The institute’s director, Professor Neil Hunter, says the bacteria, which have the potential to cause a wide range of infections such as sinusitis, pneumonia, meningitis and wound infections, are becoming more prevalent due to public health measures, including water fluoridation.

 

HELLO!     “Fluoridated teeth have hard shells but they decay and they hollow,” he says. “Fluoride makes the outside of the tooth very hard but they are like a tree - the bark on the outside can appear very hard but the inside can be rotten and you won’t discover this until the tree falls over.

Extract: In Colorado, the rate of suicide among teenagers, children and young adults has been consistently above the national average since 1980.   Suicide is, sadly, the second-leading cause of death in children between the ages of 10 through 19 in Colorado.

 

 In Kentucky, suicide is also the second leading cause of death in children, teens and young adults. In Mississippi, the number of teen and young-adult suicides has increased 126% since 1969, with more than 90% of the victims being males.

In Alaska, the suicide rate among teenagers is nearly twice that of the national average - twice. (21, 22, 23, 24)

Other strange surges in human suffering have been noted, as well. In Colorado, from 1990 through 1999, the percentage of children with orthopedic impairments rose 484%. In Alaska, during 1990-98, the incidence of diabetes increased by 152%, (much greater than the national rate), and now Alaska is among the top three states with the highest incidence of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. In the midst of all this growing and tragic suffering, in the year 2000 the Surgeon General issued a “first ever” call to action in response to what was noted as a “silent epidemic” of dental problems in the United States. Something strange is happening in the mouths of Americans. (27)

 

According to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, an estimated 80% of American adults currently have some form of periodontal (gum) disease. In parts of Kentucky, nearly half of the toddlers have cavities in their teeth, which is approximately twice the national average. KIDNEY DISEASE 2005-2006 figures. Chronic Kidney Disease is responsible for the highest number of hospital visits to public hospitals in Australia. In 2005 / 2006 one third of all admissions to public hospitals were due to dialysis, 2000 each day of the year.

Extract: In Colorado, the rate of suicide among teenagers, children and young adults has been consistently above the national average since 1980.
Suicide is, sadly, the second-leading cause of death in children between the ages of 10 through 19 in Colorado. In Kentucky, suicide is also the second leading cause of death in children, teens and young adults. In Mississippi, the number of teen and young-adult suicides has increased 126% since 1969, with more than 90% of the victims being males. In Alaska, the suicide rate among teenagers is nearly twice that of the national average - twice. (21, 22, 23, 24)

Other strange surges in human suffering have been noted, as well. In Colorado, from 1990 through 1999, the percentage of children with orthopedic impairments rose 484%. In Alaska, during 1990-98, the incidence of diabetes increased by 152%, (much greater than the national rate), and now Alaska is among the top three states with the highest incidence of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. About G So who is responsible for the printed version of the AFN?

Glen Walker is the inspiration behind the AFN. What makes Glen such an incredible fellow is that he reached the age of 94 in 2008. How many other people of his age can claim to put in the work rate that Glen does? Many accolades could be poured upon Glen, but I would like to quote from one of his books: Fluoridation, Poison on Tap.

About the Author

Glen S. R. Walker, F.I.M.F., E.M.E.C.S., M.A.E.S., is Chairman of the Freedom From Fluoridation Federation of Australia, and of the Anti-Fluoridation Association of Victoria.

His experience in technical and scientific organisations throughout the world has been extensive.

In 1968 he was the first Australian to be made a Fellow of the Institute of Metal Finishing, London, an international society entry into which is controlled by technical and scientific examination, and his Fellowship was awarded for his work in that field which has received international recognition.

He is also an Emeritus Member of the Electrochemical Society, U.S.A. having been a member for over forty years.

He has represented Australia many times at international scientific conferences. His business and scientific interests took him overseas almost every year, where he studied developments in several fields of industry.

During World War II, he acted as a consultant to the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force, the American Air Force, Government Ordinance Factories, and sub-contractors to the Ministry of Munitions.

He was a member of a Sub-Committee of the Wartime Ministry of Munitions which controlled the use and supply of strategic metals. He was also a partner in a chemical company that manufactured special chemicals war-time use.

He has written many papers for local and overseas journals.

After the war he was the proprietor of a chemical laboratory which held a highest qualification in Australia - registration by the N.A.T.A. (National Association of Testing Authorities).

The author and the staff of this laboratory pioneered the determination trace impurities in electrolytes, using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer which was invented by the C.S.I.R.O. This is now universally used throughout the world.

Glen Walker also held a number of patents in the field of metal finishing.

The Author's experience with fluorides, cover over forty years from when the chemical was first used in electrochemical formulations, and remembers the hazards and dangers in using fluoride chemicals, and the extreme caution required in handling them.

Long before his active interest in fluoridation, he was "a voice in the wilderness" being an early advocate for the control of industrial pollution.

In 1969 he gave evidence before an Australian Government Senate Select Committee, and offered his services to establish a policy from which industry would not only be encouraged, but made aware of the necessity, availability and economy of proper effluent treatment plants. He studied proven processes in the U.S.A. and obtained manufacturing rights for Australia.

Further representation to the Federal and State Governments and its departments, resulted in complete indifference.

Is it any wonder he looked upon the Victorian Compulsory Fluoridation Act of 1973 with interest and great concern? Instead of industrial chemical waste disposal units, the Government now makes every person in Victoria a walking waste disposal unit for a trade waste."

Fluoride Poisoning in Killen’s Home Town

It is ironic that a local family was almost killed by excessive fluoride added to the town water supply at Dalby, 12 years after Sir James Killen, who was born in Dalby, initiated one of the few defeats of the Menzies Government on the floor of the House. Almost 4 months after the poisoning, Dalby aldermen confessed the near tragedy had been deliberately covered up.

 

Former Alderman L.T. Sturgess revealed that the Council employee and members of his family had been almost killed when a massive fluoride overdose accidentally got into their water supply. They had been admitted to Dalby hospital with what was later diagnosed as fluoride poisoning. Mr Sturgess alleged that the town Health Committee withheld details from the public.

 

No record of fluoride poisoning could be located in Council’s business papers, although Council records showed radical variations in the quantity of sodium fluoride added to the water supply, as well as major variations in the average monthly fluoride concentration in the water as shown in the Table…………….

 

An angry public meeting in January 1977 demanded an end to fluoridation of the town’s water supply.

 

The Dalby disaster is an example of highly the toxic nature of the chemicals used in artificial fluoridation and that artificial fluoridation plants are not safe.

What a remarkable collection of Professional and Political people we have and their day by day playing the same old scratched recording that repeats ad nauseum that all we really need to stop dental decay is the addition of fluoride chemicals in our drinking water supplies.

 

The ring of truth turns into a dull flat note of complete scientific, dental, medical state of flummoxed gobbledegook, even taught in Universities.   The cry of those groups from the Prime Minister down, through the general State Parliaments, and their “Health Experts”, all complaining of the huge dental problems throughout Australia, including their precious fluoridation installations areas serving over 80% of the population, that require more dentists to start any kind of reversal of the increasing dental decay and improving the 5 year waiting time for public dental service.

 

The cry for more dentists has informed the population of Australia that compulsory artificial fluoridation has failed, but that they, the people, must carry the burden of its failure because if the truth were properly exposed, there

would be a large exodus of its supporters scurrying away from identification.

 

Political fluoridation honesty (?) and history, officially documented in the Hansard of all Australian Governments, should again be brought before the people to illustrate the way Australians are “lead up the garden path” by the people you voted into Parliament to represent you in an Ethical Constitutional manner.

The Failure of Fluoridation and False Explanations There must be some handsome rewards available for those “thinking up” reasons for:

 

(1)   The absolute failure of fluoridation and

 

(2)  the 5 year waiting time in fluoridated areas for dental service, required to relieve the distress of so many Australians who were guaranteed by their arliaments, the ADA, AMA, NH&MRC etc, etc, that with the introduction of fluoridation, “there would be no more tooth decay”! Show some proof? A reasonable question.

Federal Parliament 3rd October, 1989 (Hansard p.

1210):

The Minister of Health, Dr. Blewett, stated:

 

“The dentists are speaking entirely without self - interest, because it can clearly be shown that they have lost a lot of customers and clients as a result of the effect of fluoridation of water. They are speaking from a public health point of view.”

 

Results since that announcement:-

• More new Dental Hospitals

• More dental decay

• More fluoridation plants

• More dentists since fluoridation

• Dentists in the highest income bracket

• More Government money - Federal Government to spend $500,000 to help 400,000 people waiting up to 5 years for dental service. (Election announcement 2005)

 

Without exception Capital City daily papers print articles on the unacceptable state of dental health all over Australia, but none seem courageous enough to print the true reasons for dental decay and those responsible for this health dilemma.

 

The regular contributions to the media by dental “experts” use some highly irregular and supercilious dental statements that are not allowed correction.   Example -

(1) “Fluoride is a nutrient”! Should read “Fluorides are poisons” but the public are misled with propaganda rather than FACT.

(2) One statement that is used extensively in

Government literature:

“There are 1000 studies in more than 20 countries which have shown that water fluoridation reduces tooth decay in both children and adults. Fluoride works directly on the surface of the teeth so it is beneficial to everyone throughout life.”

(Victorian Government Health Department book - “Fluoridation strengthens teeth throughout life - 2002”.)

Here is fluoridation at its peak of propaganda but without any proof of scientific fact. Indeed when challenged, it was withdrawn from further print!

(3) The Australian Dental Journal, 1986 heading “Mutagenicity”, the ADA Journal stated:

“The fluoride ion is an endogenous ion of the human organism . . .”

If this statement in the ADA Journal were factual, every normal human system would be naturally supplied with metabolically-balanced “endogenous” fluoride ions, and

fluoride use in drinking water could never be justified (Guthrie, Australian Dental Journal 1986).

 

The Victorian Government Committee of Inquiry into Fluoridation, 1980, was awash with mistakes of an unimaginable magnitude but was presented to the Parliament by Rupert Hamer, Premier of Victoria, as “being a scholarly and erudite overview on fluoridation.”

The Report stated, Chapter 6, p. 17, that:

“. . . even the most susceptible (plants) can tolerate up to 100 p.p.m. (parts per million) HF (Hydrogen Fluoride) from atmospheric sources”. Reference, Report on Fluorides by U.S. National Academy of Sciences, Washington D.C. using the prefix, “VOSTAL

J.J. et.al.” (Dr. J. Vostal was Chairman of the Committee that wrote that Report).

 

Dr. Vostal was contacted by this author and rejected the Victorian Government Inquiry statement of 100 ppm HF as safe for “the most susceptible plants”.

The U.S. Report stated “the threshold for susceptible plants is about 0.58 parts per Billion”, which is 171,414 times less than that claimed by the Victorian Government

Report.    

An Australian study has shown that susceptible grape species are affected by even smaller amounts of HF at 0.22 parts per billion. (W.J. Greenhalgh et.al, Dept. of Agronomy and Horticultural Science, University of Sydney.)

 

There is no limit to wrong scientific data presented to the public as a commercial sales practice in their fluoridation propaganda, which frighteningly never seems to worry responsible authorities which exist to safeguard the people from such dangerous dodgy actions.
